Fundamentals of Fusion

Fusion is the process of combining information from different sources to provide an improved situation that offers more than just the individual pieces of information. In effect, it's the process of adding 2 plus 2 and getting 5!

Increasingly, multi-sensor systems are being produced and this is driving the demand for fusion systems and skilled engineers with the know-how to make them a reality.

In this context, the term 'fusion' is generally linked with other words to produce industry accepted phrases - data fusion, image fusion, identity fusion. These are just some examples, and all are addressed on this detailed technical course which provides a thorough introduction to the topic of fusion.

Group sessions and 'hands-on' exercises are interspersed between technical lectures and you will be encouraged to discuss your fusion system requirements / problems throughout the course, enabling focus to be placed on topics of particular relevance or importance.
