One of our bespoke software products is an image query database (IQ-DB). Marrying advanced image analysis metrics with validation tools and systems engineering software, this unique product offers many generic benefits to large system development projects.

The purpose of the IQ-DB is to facilitate the validation of synthetic imagery. Real images from trials and synthetic images can be logged and controlled via the tool. The IQ-DB will then allow a strict data acceptance process to be followed, based on the mathematical analysis of real and synthetic images.

A specially designed set of image analysis metrics is available, together with validation metrics to aid the decision making process for the operator.

In addition, data mining techniques can be employed to provide envelope coverage information that can assist in specifying new images that should be gathered to further the validation process.
