Directions from London Heathrow Airport (LHR)

Guildford is approximately 23 miles from London's Heathrow Airport and can be reached by road (taxi or hire car) or a combination of road and rail (public transport).

Driving

On leaving Heathrow, follow signs for the M4 (West towards Reading) and follow it as far as the M25.

Join the M25 (Junction 15) heading anti-clockwise towards Staines and Gatwick Airport.

Follow the M25 to Junction 10 and exit onto the A3 (South) towards Guildford.

Leave the M25 at Junction 10 (A3 exit, marked Guildford). Follow the A3 South towards Guildford (Portsmouth Road)

Public transport

The quickest way to reach Guildford by public transport is to take the Rail-Air Link bus to Woking station and then the train to Guildford.

Rail-Air Link buses leave all Heathrow terminals every half hour and the journey time to Woking is approximately half an hour.

Upon arrival at Woking station, catch a train to Guildford. The service is frequent and the journey time is only 10 minutes.

On arrival at Guildford (main line) station, we recommend you take a taxi from the rank at the main (eastern) entrance to the station.

Directions from London Gatwick Airport (LGW)

Guildford is approximately 13 miles from London's Gatwick Airport and can be reached by road or rail.

Driving

On leaving Gatwick, follow signs for the M23 (North towards London) and follow it as far as the M25.

Join the M25 (Junction 7) heading clockwise towards Reigate and Heathrow Airport.

Follow the M25 to Junction 10 and exit onto the A3 (South) towards Guildford.

The quickest way to reach Guildford by public transport is to take the train from Gatwick's railway station direct to Guildford (main line station)

There are 2 trains per hour and the journey time is approximately 45 minutes.
